Our inaugural International Women’s Day celebration on March 8, 2015, was inspiring and spirit-filled by women’s voice in art, song, dance and poetry. We explored what it means to be a woman in the face of genetics and cancer, the call to break the cycle of sex trafficking of children, and what it means to live by interfaith peace values. Most importantly, the day offered opportunities to meet one another, learn from one another and share the stories of our heart.
The Interfaith Peace Project is now poised to continue the journey of women’s voice rising for both women and men. Please accept our invitation to use our resources to continue meeting in small groups about topics such as personal concerns, family, local communities, the country and care of the earth.
We look forward to further collaborating with you.
