Monday Morning Community on Zoom: Studies in the Deutero-Pauline Epistles - Overview and Second Thessalonians Session 1

THE MONDAY COMMUNITY SCRIPTURE STUDY

STUDIES IN THE DEUTERO-PAULINE EPISTLES
January – October 2023
Monday Mornings on Zoom – 10:30 am – 12 Noon (PT)

Conclusion of Romans
Overview of the Deutero-Pauline Corpus and Second Thessalonians
January 9, 16, 23, and 30

Overview of the Pastoral Epistles and First Timothy
March 6, 13, 20, and 27

Second Timothy and Titus
May 1, 8, 15, and 22

Ephesians
July 3, 10, 17, and 24

August 7 – Report on the up-coming Parliament of the World’s Religions

Colossians
August 21, 28, September 4, and 11

Review and Updates on the Pauline Literature
October 2, 9, 16, and 23

November 13 – Report on the up-coming meeting of The Society of Biblical Literature

NOTE

The actual (supposed) sequence of these Letters is Second Thessalonians, Colossians, Ephesians, First and Second Timothy, and Titus.  The proposed arrangement is for the sake of presenting the logic of the Trinitarian, Christological, and Ecclesiological insights that will unfold in the “post-Pauline” period.  This order affords us the opportunity to appreciate the unfolding theology of the Cosmic Christ whether or not such an idea is authentically Pauline.

Thank you for this opportunity to journey with you,
Peace
Tom
