Dear Friends,
We at the Interfaith Peace Project would like to call to your attention a day of action by the Poor People’s Campaign this coming Saturday, June 20, 2020.
The Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival is bringing people together throughout the United States “to confront the interlocking evils of systemic racism, poverty, ecological devastation, militarism and the war economy, and the distorted moral narrative of religious nationalism.”
The Poor People’s Assembly and March on Washington is going to be a digital one. The Assembly will gather from all 50 U.S. states and territories, and from across the world on June 20, 2020. It will be a 2-hour program broadcast on Saturday, June 20, 2020, at 10:00am EST and 6:00pm EST and again on Sunday, June 21st at 6;00pm EST.
You can sign up and pledge to join the movement to unite 140 million poor and low income people across this country to transform our nation by going to https://www.june2020.org/# sign.
