Reflection
It’s easy to feel stuck, especially when it seems like the world around us is divided into rigid lines of right and wrong, good and bad. We’re often caught in the trap of “us vs. them,” battling against the voices that challenge or oppose us. It’s a place that fuels resentment and fear, and it’s exhausting. But what if this very struggle could be the key to our collective transformation? Imagine a world where we didn’t need to hold on so tightly to certainty and judgment, where our differences became a wellspring of growth rather than division.

Thought
Perhaps we pray, meditate, and reflect so we might not be so convinced of our opinions. The task of life is to become people of conviction motivated by a sense of compassion for all other people. We even pray for our enemies convinced that love, respect, and kindness are the greatest forces in developing our minds, hearts, and souls.
Response
You are a light. You are the light. Never let anyone — any person or any force — dampen, dim or diminish your light. Study the path of others to make your way easier and more abundant. Lean toward the whispers of your own heart, discover the universal truth, and follow its dictates. Release the need to hate, to harbor division, and the enticement of revenge. Release all bitterness. Hold only love, only peace in your heart, knowing that the battle of good to overcome evil is already won. –John Lew
