JESUS DIES IN THE MANNER OF HIS LIVING
PART ONE
THE PASSION IN THE LIFE OF JESUS
9:00 am – 9:45 am
Mark 1:40-45 and Luke 7:11-17 are two prime examples for appreciating the passions of Jesus. Jesus “models” compassion providing crucial strategies for becoming a person of compassion.
PART TWO
THE PASSION IN THE “DEATH” OF JESUS
10:00 am – 10:45 am
After contrasting the death of Jesus as presented in Mark 15:33-39 and John 19:28-30, we will explore the moments before the death of Jesus in Luke 23:39-43. Although Jesus is executed on the Cross, the Gospel writers portray his dying and death in the manner of his living.
