Tomorrow, April, 22, is Earth Day! EARTHDAY.ORG founders created and organized the first Earth Day on April 22, 1970. Since then, it has become an annual event held on April 22 to demonstrate support for environmental protection. The event has grown to include over 1 billion people.

EARTHDAY.ORG’S theme this year is “Planet vs. Plastics”. The group is aiming for a 60% reduction in plastic production by 2040, a no plastic future, and to phase out single-use plastics by 2030. Please visit their website for information on how you can join the movement:
