THE INTERFAITH PEACE PROJECT
A Legacy of Peace-Making for Twenty-Five Years
September 8, 2001 – September 8, 2026

We begin our one-year observance of our twenty-fifth anniversary on September 8, 2025. The year of observance will conclude on September 8, 2026.
We dedicate this year to you, our friends and mentors, who have supported us along this incredible journey in so many ways. Your wisdom continues to bless us, your generosity brings comfort to the poor and forgotten, your activism transforms society, and your courage gives the world its future.
Beginning on September 21, 2025, we will begin our reflection on the heart of the Interfaith Peace Project – the Interpath Principles. The essays will be sent to you on the 8th and 21st of each month for the next year.
The 8th of each month reminds us of International Women’s Day, March 8th. The Interfaith Peace Project has always observed the philosophy of International Women’s Day in all its affairs. We believe the heart of interfaith outreach, love, and respect is based on the full equality and incorporation of women in every aspect of life.
The 21st recalls the International Day of Peace observed on September 21st. We believe that true justice is born from the peace found in the heart of every person. We encourage everyone we meet to be true to the love, peace, and compassion residing in every human heart. If peace “flows like a river,” it flows forth from the heart of every person who strives to become fully human and utterly humane.
If you would like to formally join with us in our observance of the anniversary year, we invite you to show extraordinary kindness to the houseless, the migrant, the immigrant, the stranger, and the people you meet in the course of everyday life, especially on the 8th and 21st of each month.
The Interfaith Community is realized not only in formal ways when representatives of various faith traditions gather. The Interfaith Community is the world in which we live. Each person is a gift. Everyone holds their faith, culture, traditions, and philosophies in ways unique and inspiring. Every encounter you have in life is an interfaith encounter.
Blessings to you for sharing yourself with us and one another. May every day be a day of peace. Please visit our website: interfaithpeaceprojectlegacy.org.
