Notice During the Covid-19 Outbreak

In solidarity, we at the Interfaith Peace Project stand together in these times of heart break and upset. Some of you may have lost friends or family members. Some of you may have lost your job and your income; some may be working overtime to help with the crisis. Some of you may be home and alone and some may be trying to figure out a new way to live. Please let us know how we can help. If you would like a phone appointment with any of us, give us a call. You may call or email Tom at:

EARTH DAY
APRIL 22, 2021
Continuing to Celebrate
The International Day of Peace

“Last year, wildfires burned more than 5,000 acres in the West…an area roughly the size of the entire state of New Jersey. More intense and powerful hurricanes and tropical storms pummeled states across the Gulf Coast and along the East Coast…Historic floods, severe droughts have ravaged the Midwest. More Americans see and feel the devastation in big cities, small towns, coastlines, and in farmlands, in red states and blue states. And the Defense Department reported that climate change is a direct threat to more than two thirds of the military’s operational critical installations.” – President Joe Biden, January 27, 2021

Earth Day is a wonderful opportunity for us as individuals and a community to commit ourselves to loving care of one another and of the earth. We humbly offer the following list of suggested responses to the current crisis. We commit ourselves to do what we can, realizing together we can make a difference.

What can I do?

1.   Speak Out in any way you can to encourage companies to use and support eco-friendly products.
2.   Encourage your family and friends to purchase eco friendly products and recycle accordingly.
3.   Stay informed, sign petitions, attend demonstrations and vote for candidates who favor climate action.
4.   Travel responsibly, eat sustainably, and conserve water consciously.
5.   Consume less, contribute more and support organizations that foster climate action.
6.   Lovingly care for your garden, your neighborhood and the parks that you visit.
7. Encourage your family and friends to be lovingly respectful of the earth, our common home.
