The event is planned as a peaceful, positive, family-friendly, non-partisan gathering to demonstrate and celebrate the vibrant diversity we enjoy in the Tri-Valley and beyond, and to stand in solidarity with those among us who feel vulnerable.
“Formal” speeches and group singing will open the event at 1:30. Afterwards, attendees may choose from a variety of activities: visit information tables and tables of Native American crafts, write a personal message for the peace pole, make signs and valentines, write your personal immigration story, participate in a small group discussion, and more! Ethnic dancers will perform in the fellowship hall.
