THE INTERFAITH PEACE PROJECT

THE 2022 SEASON

THE BELOVED SCRIPTURE PROGRAM
Interfaith Reflections Inspired by Matthew 25: 31-46

This year we will celebrate, ponder, and savor some of the Beloved Sacred Writing and Stories gleaned from the Wisdom Traditions of Humankind.  We will also be attentive to the Story of the Earth and the Saga of the Universe.  Our on-going program will consider the possibility of a Sacred Text for all the Earth.  Our series “inter-reads” the texts and stories so the various Traditions touch one another.  This will be an opportunity for us to share the Sacred Stories that touch our hearts and change our lives.  In this time of uncertainty, such a series can offer us hope as we glean the Wisdom of the past to find courage for the moment and the future.

Our Series will be based on Interfaith Reflections inspired by Matthew 25: 31-46.  These Beloved Verses help us to realize and implement the ethic of compassion which emerged as the heart and soul of the Great Traditions of Humankind.  Each session is a stand alone program.  Join any evening you can.  You are more than welcome.
