20TH ANNIVERSARY OF
THE INTERFAITH PEACE PROJECT

SEPTEMBER 8, 2001 – SEPTEMBER 8, 2021

PEOPLE OF PEACE
DISCOVERING & CELEBRATING
THE WISDOM OF PEOPLE

GRATITUDE

The Interfaith Peace Project has enjoyed many different configurations over the years. Established in Pittsburgh, PA on September 8, 2001, our work was quickly redefined by the tragic events of September 11, 2001.

We struggled over the years to discern how we could best serve and work with those individuals who dedicated themselves to practicing peace in all the affairs of their lives.

Finally, in 2005 in a coffee shop in San Francisco, the Reverend Andrea J. Goodman and Thomas P. Bonacci, C.P. forged the beginnings of the current Interfaith Peace Project. The Board of Directors continues to guide all our efforts with their wisdom, love, and dedication to peace.

We learned some things over the years from the remarkable people we met along the way. The future now opens to meeting new people in even more diverse and creative ways.

For the moment, we pause to give thanks for everyone who has blessed us along the pathways of peace and Interfaith love, compassion, and respect.

This is a celebration in honor of you, your work, and your heart.
