PLEASE – NEVER AGAIN

All of us who participate in The Interfaith Peace Project are heartbroken at the continuing violence destroying the lives of so many people in general and children and teenagers in particular. We are especially saddened by the abduction and murder of the three Israeli teenagers whose bodies were found on June 30, 2014:

Eyal Yifrach, 19
Naftali Fraenkel, 16
Gilad Shaar, 16

We offer our prayers for their families and friends. Nothing can comfort the parents and loved ones but we can and must work for peace born of justice. We join with all those who seek an end to violence and hatred. We will remember these, our sons, and all the victims of violence in our work and efforts to forge peace by confronting misunderstanding, injustice, prejudice, and fear.

Lord, hear our prayer for peace!
