LET YOUR LIGHT SO SHINE!

The Gospel of Matthew affords us a powerful opportunity to look back into our roots as disciples of Jesus and see anew that we are a people born of strife and anguish.  For Matthew, that realization is the source of compassion and justice.  As such, Matthew’s Gospel challenges us to be people of justice and compassion as we cope with the issues of our day.  Our continuing series will be influenced by the international scholarship that has recently emerged in Matthean Studies.  The voices of wisdom from the World will bless us as we journey anew through the Parables, Teachings, and Challenges of Jesus our Emmanuel
