Interfaith Retreat: Go Out To All The World

Our Interfaith Retreat introduces another chapter in the development of Interfaith Spirituality and Practice. As the Faith Traditions of humankind continue to engage one another in the pursuit of justice and peace, we experience the World in a new and challenging ways. As the World confronts the threats of terrorism and political and economic unrest, people of Faith strive for peace. What are the spiritual/religious/cultural sources and implications of this pursuit? This question forms the heart and soul of our Retreat.

Elements of Our Retreat:

1. What do we mean by the word “religion”?
2. What do we mean by the word “God” as we survey the “religions” of Humankind?
3. Is the Future of “Interreligious Practice” to be found in a developing “Interpath” manner? We shall explore the Mother of the Buddha and the Night Journey of Muhammad for clues. (Two Sessions)
4. We will engage in deep sharing to discern the possibility of developing the “Interpathic” perspectives.
5. We will be inspired by reflections from the Ahmadiyya Islamic Movement and the Baha’s Community followed by music, social, and shared conversations.
6. We will bless the Night with our Evening Fire Meditation.
7. A presentation exploring and proposing the “Interpath” approach to Interfaith Practice will be offered.
8. Open Discussion
9. We will engage in shared reflections to bless and conclude our Retreat experience.

COST:
$235 for private room
$205 per person for double occupancy.
All bedrooms are nonsmoking.
